By working with children in the hard to reach areas as well as children affected by natural or manmade disaster, WKP seeks to ensure that no child is left behind in education. All children despite their life circumstances should access education.
How do we bring about change?
Through psychosocial support to enable the children stabilize in readiness for education Parents trained in child development and school support to create a nurturing environment at home and increase the likelihood of children remaining in school Workshops with various government officials on education and child protection to advocate for increased conducive environment in schools as well as implementation of existing policies on education.
Children with disability supported with education materials as well as psychosocial aid to increase their enrollment in schools Teachers both in SNE as well as regular education trained to increase the conduciveness of the learning environment in schools Classrooms and school renovation to increase child friendly environments in schools
